The Ram-Headed Amun and the Magnetic Field of Mars

Is it possible the ram-headed Amun is a symbolic representation of a planetary body exhibiting similar electromagnetic traits to that of earth? Was the magnetic field of Mars observed during Pharaonic times?

The King of the Gods Amun (Amen) = Global Aurora

Cosmic catastrophe in ancient historical times gave rise to intense geomagnetic storms (aurora) which were observable day (courtesy of a hazed Red Sun) and night and on a global scale. This being a natural consequence of planetary chaos. As proposed here these magical dancing neon's lights were deified as the great god Amun. His epithets and imagery are completely consistent with this identification. For example, Amun was known as the 'hidden one' - 'the one whose true form could never be known' and the 'silent one.' Very apt descriptions of dynamic shimmering lights dominating earth's skies. When pictorially represented, Amun's most common form was that of a human wearing a very distinctive plumed 'auroral' headdress. The shape and colours of the plumes a direct, face value, representation of shimmering curtains of light, as demonstrated in the images below.

Any planetary encounters would give us a aurora filled sky (right), this is why Amun (left) was known as 'The King of the Gods.'

In appearing amidst a sky filled aurora the god king planets enjoyed a very close and personal relationship with Amun. Indeed this 'dwelling within' configuration led to numerous kings bestowed with befitting titles such as 'Beloved of Amun' and 'Chosen of Amun.' In addition to this, pharaohs were crowned king, reigned and fought many great cosmic battles (Megiddo, Kadesh) under the authority of the great sky god Amun.

Egypt's divine queens (who should be primarily associated with the planet Venus) were even closer to Amun, they were considered 'god's wife of Amun.' This divine marriage was due to 'queen Venus' not only dwelling within Amun, but also adorning two large 'auroral' cometary tails whilst appearing amidst earth's twin plumed magnetotail, which should also be identified with Amun. (see Amun, and Comet Venus). The Egyptians believed that if god's wife (Venus) didn't have very 'intimate' relations with Amun (aurora), the next king would not be born and the whole cosmos would fall into chaos. Only in the context of cosmic chaos and the God King Scenario can such enigmatic beliefs be understood.

It is planetary bodies exhibiting electromagnetic, or Amun 'traits' that is of particular interest here.

Amun - The Ram-Headed Sphinx

Another prominent form of Amun was that of a ram-headed sphinx. This mainly statue form of Amun can be found lining avenues, or processional ways as in the images below.

What are we to make of this form of Amun?

As proposed in previous works, Amun wasn't just the god of the seemingly earth bound electrical apparitions, far from it. In an electric universe errant planets also exhibited glowing auroral and electromagnetic traits. Such magical phenomena was also naturally attributed to Amun. This furthering the close and personal relationship that already existed between the astral monarchy and Amun.

The magnetic field of Mars (home).

Mars was once earth-like in every sense in that it was home to vast oceans, land masses, mountains and valleys and an atmosphere conducive to life (human life), moreover, it was home to an electromagnetic field which was once stronger than earth's magnetic field today. Three thousand years of planetary encounters with earth (Mars, Venus and the Moon) has seen Mars in the guise of Egypt's god kings literally battle (Pharaonic battles) itself from an earth-like planet to its now frozen desolate state.

This cataclysmic process saw the slow but systematic tearing down of Mars' magnetic field, as its solid iron core was ripped out through the Valles Marineris, an enormous scar (same diameter as Mercury) still visible on the Martian surface as in the image below. The Amarna Period records this incomprehensible event.

As Mars was torn apart it took on many forms - an incandescent red orb in the image of Re (red Sun) would be the main one, another would be a blue egg-shaped orb with a ring of debris around its girth, as represented in the blue crown, to name another.

It is proposed here that another prime manifestation of pharaonic Mars when in close proximity to earth was that of a planetary body with a highly visible magnetic field. It was symbolically represented in the ram-headed form of Amun.

Earth's Magnetic Field.
The Earth is like a great big magnet. The north pole of the magnet is near the top of the planet, near the geographic north pole, and the south pole is near the geographic south pole. Magnetic field lines extend from these poles for tens of thousands of kilometers into space; this is the Earth’s magneto sphere.

Using the diagram of earth's magnetic field at the top of the page as an analogy and comparing it to the image of Amun protecting the Pharaoh alongside. The ram's head represents the body of Mars (or Mercury?) whereas, the most distinguishing feature, the ram's horns, clearly represent a visible magnetic field seen looping around and shielding the body of Mars. The magnetic field deemed visible by dust and debris.

A statue of the divine Ramesses the Great is placed between the paws to signify, at this particular time, this aspect of Mars was venerated as the god king Ramesses, which means 'Fashioned by Re.' In other words, a red Mars/Ramesses seemingly fashioned by the father to all red orbs, the perennial red sun, Re.

The best Egyptologists can come with here is, we have an imaginary aspect of the solar god Re, in the form of an enigmatic Ram protecting an earthly pharaoh, indeed! The GKS suffers from no such blurred and vague interpretations and it's possible to take the iconography at face value. Electrical apparitions were seen enveloping Pharaonic Mars and this was represented in the Ram headed sphinx. Throughout Egypt there exists numerous sky gods shown in similar protective poses. A prime example; on the right we have the omnipresent sky god Horus (embodiment of kingship) protecting the god king planet Ramesses. The disk representing the orb of Mars/Ramesses NOT THE SUN!

'Face-on,' a full Mars.

I would suggest that what we are looking at here is a planetary body appearing almost stationary on the eastern horizon and in opposition to Sun. That is to say this form of Amun manifested itself in the east as Re set in the west. I reason this because the iconography clearly reveals we are looking at a planetary body seen 'face-on' (from the Egyptian's POV) as it is blasted by the solar wind. We may compare this to a full moon rising in the east as the Sun sets in the west - the light from the Sun fully illuminating the Moon's disk, and this representing the solar wind bombarding the Moon 'full on.' Only, unlike the movements of the Moon, pharaonic Mars remained stationary in the east for lengthy periods of time. This possibly being a contributing factor in the Ram's head i.e. small nose extending outwards. The long flowing hair or lion's mane here signifies the magnetotail was on many occasions also probably observed. The ram's beard below which the Pharaoh stands would be the point at which the magnetic field enters the pole of Mars. This could be the origin of the beard worn by all Pharaohs.

If the Sun was at any other angle with respect to Mars, then I think we would be looking at a different form of Amun (which I'm not ruling out) and we would not be presented with such a face-on image. That said, its possible the Egyptians incorporated many of the magnetic apparitions of said planets into this Amun 'face on' Ram guise.

A side on diagram showing the earth bombarded by the solar wind. As we can see this would give us a totally different shape.

To make clear, the ram-headed Amun was just one manifestation of Mars, there were many others (what do you expect!) e.g., there's is no doubt the Sun also rose behind Mars on numerous occasions and Re's light (no glare) would deem Mars' magnetic field invisible during the day, this giving rise to the traditional ubiquitous red orb once again reigning supreme. Or as discussed below, Mars (and other bodies) may just have appeared in Sphinx form.

Were Amun's ears also seen?

Perhaps Amun's prominent ears were also seen. I will simply use a couple of images for comparison. Bearing in mind, dust granting visibility to the otherwise invisible.

Top; a diagram of earth's magnetic field. Compare this to the ram-headed Amun with protruding ears.

Why a recumbent Sphinx?

Drawing from the natural world the ram's head was chosen primarily due to its very distinctive 'magnetic horns,' but why attach the ram's head to a recumbent lions body? The key here is planetary bodies appearing stationary as Horus 'in' the horizon.

Horemakhet, "Horus in the Horizon." A planetary king as Horus literally 'in' the horizon.

All kings were embodied in the sky god Horus and as demonstrated here Horus should be totally disassociated from the Sun. He was the primary god by which all kings reigned over earth and his many forms signify the many prominent guises and attributes of the errant planets, e.g. Horus Behdety (winged disk) = a body adorning wings; Harsiese ('Horus Son of Isis' ) = a body amidst the ecliptic (Isis), dust etc., etc. In short, Horus = ruling planetary king.

With the above in mind picture this, a thick dynamic band of debris encircling the horizon of a 'flat' earth - a thick haze of dust that, at times, gave the appearance of actually merging with earth (The Egyptians actually breathed in this 'sootزNow place pharaonic Mars amidst this dust and debris as it locks into a geosynchronous orbit above the Trans-Himalayas (thus raising them). This gives us a planetary king, as Horus, quite literally 'in' the horizon. In this guise the Pharaoh was aptly known as 'Horus IN the horizon,' Horemakhet. Harmakhet's form is that of a sphinx or a sphinx with the head of a ram... '. The Great Sphinx at Giza (below) was known as Horemakhet and is a prime example a pharaoh embodied in a lions body.

The mainstream belief that it represents the dawn and the early morning sun is absurd, for how can the Sun be described as 'in' the horizon? Furthermore, the Sun is in constant motion and was accordingly said to traverse the heavens in a barque of millions of years, so why represent as an stationary animal? It is apparent, Horemakhet represents a god king planet dwelling in the thick hazy band of the horizon.

A recumbent lion was chosen to primarily signify a stationary body as strong as a lion amidst countless tons of dust not only within earth's atmosphere but also littering the solar system. Many cosmogonical gods would reside amidst this band of debris, Sobek would be one such southern 'horizon/earth' deity. I would also further suggest given the intermingling of atmospheres, bow shocks and cometary tails exhibited by planetary bodies that some sort of 'lion shape' was perceived. For example; it's possible the front paws of the sphinx are symbolic of a planetary body with the Sun behind it exhibiting a double plumed magnetotail (see Comet Venus,) or 'paws' to the ancients. I've drawn a cartoon diagram (right) to give a very rough idea here of what may have been observed.

Many kings were shown in sphinx form and although this requires further research the following images speak volumes. The reader is to make their own mind up as to whether or not Egypt's divine royal family were uniquely human, or in this case, primarily guises of celestial bodies appearing stationary IN the horizon.

So why add a ram's head? To clarify, the lion maned sphinx came first, the ram's headed sphinx followed (or at the very least appeared simultaneously) as certain bodies emblazoned themselves in the horizon skies adorning electromagnetic traits - what a sight!

Mars, the original Ram-headed sphinx.

Mars set many precedents throughout its demise. It sat 'in' a dust filled horizon on numerous occasions and, having once being home to an electromagnetic field, Mars became directly responsible for the invention of the ram-headed form of Amun. Mars, however, wasn't the only body that exhibited electromagnetic dipole traits, or 'ram-headed' qualities. After its exit through the Valles Marineris, Mercury having once being the solid iron core of Mars, superseded Mars in displaying 'Amun traits' for centuries after its birth. This essentially due to Mercury being one gigantic planetary magnet. Mars, on the other hand, having lost its iron dynamo saw its 'ram traits' rapidly dissipate.

I say this for several reasons, the main one being there are a range of kings I associate with Mars and Mercury and for a period of time after Mercury's birth both were shown to be protected by the ram-headed sphinx. However, my Mercury associations continue well past my Mars pharaohs. Given that Mercury today still shows signs of remanent magnetism whereas Mars has no magnetic field I would suggest this was the natural sequential order of things.

Above are two coins depicting Alexander the Great with the horns of Amun. I associate Alexander the Great with a phase of Mercury (?) which rampaged back to earth's skies late in Egyptian times before heading off to its present day orbit. Alexander had the epithet the 'two horned' or 'Sire with the two horns.' Are we dealing with pure idealism or perhaps humans actually grew horns? For me the iconography is clear, it represents a kingly body (Mercury) displaying electromagnetic traits.

No queens protected by Amun in this way.

As proposed Egypt's divine queens should be associated with the planet Venus, and in appearing amidst intense global aurora they were also adorned with the title 'god's wives of Amun.' However, despite this very close and personal relationship with Amun, this author can find no statues, coins or otherwise, depicting any queens protected by Amun in the way he is shown protecting Egypt's kings - none! This speaks volumes in that Venus is a new planet, it has no intrinsic magnetic field, in other words, it has never had the ability to exhibit ram-headed traits.

Timing, no coincidence!

The ram-headed form first appeared during the reign of Amenhotep III (also known as 'the dazzling Re disk of all lands'). During this time the Egyptians built The Avenue of the Sphinxes. A 2.7 kilometre (1.7 mile) road lined with ram-headed sphinxes (protecting Amenhotep/Mars) that connected the temples of Karnak and Luxor

This is absolutely no coincidence!

Amenhotep III was just one of the many guises of Mars, and this is the time Mars locked into orbit above the Himalayas as it gave birth Mercury (the Aten). As above, this epoch was known as the Amarna Period. Just prior to and after the genesis of pharaonic Mercury, both Mars and Mercury displayed ram-headed traits, hence, the construction of sphinxes peaked around this time.

Right: the left over almost circular imprint or 'docking scar' of the time Mars (and Mercury) locked into orbit above the Trans-Himalayas. This would be the same time as the formation of the deserts as countless tons of vaporized molten rock and iron from around Mars' core condenced and fell to earth as iron rich sand - forming the deserts of Africa, the Middle East, and the entire Asian continent - all from Mars
